Advantages over analogues: -newly developed preparation is derived from local wasted of winemaking - grape seeds, has a higher than tannin antibacterial and antifungal activity, is non-toxic and cheap to obtain, can be widely applied in medical practice -antioxidant activity of water-soluble tannins is 1.63 times higher than that of alcohol-soluble ones -water-soluble tannins exhibit antibacterial activity relative to gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria 3-4 fold higher than that of alcohol-soluble ones.

Description of the development:

The preparation "Enoxil" is a complex of biologically active substances obtained by oxidation of grape seed tannins. The final product is a yellow-brownish powder, soluble in water (30g/100ml), which has antioxidant properties. On the basis of the biologically active substance "Enoxil" new pharmaceuticals were developed, with high curative properties in the case of human bacterial and fungal infections in the regeneration process of the thermal, chemical and physical burns and ulcers, in the treatment of postoperative wounds and post-radiation damage in cancer patients, as well as in the treatment of traumatic injuries of soft tissues and inflammatory lesions of the maxillofacial area in children. On the same basis, was elaborated a more effective preparation for the treatment of gastroduodenal ulcers. Field tests have shown high activity of "Enoxil" solutions against fungal diseases of crops (beets, soybeans, grapes).
