Recommended application field: Medicine. Biotechnology. The work was performed in cooperation with the Institute of Cell Biology of NASU, wich is co-owner of the development. The technology of the synthesis is protected by Ukrainian patents, US patent was obtained.

Advantages over analogues: 1. The methods of the obtaining novel carriers and delivery systems provide the purposeful control of the functionality and molecular weight characteristics of the carriers, colloidal-chemical and rheological properties and ability to immobilize drugs and DNA. 2. Lower cost in comparison with present analogues. 3. Lover toxicity in comparison with present synthetic analogues. 4. Possibility of the creation of various forms of the medicines for oral, parenteral, transdermal and other methods of the medicine delivery into body. 5. Possibility of the overcoming natural biological barriers, enhanced efficiency and prolongation of therapeutic action.

In vitro and in vivo novel drug and nucleic acid carriers based on oligoelectrolytes and non ionic oligomers of linear, block, comb-like and nanogel structures as well as nanoscale systems of their targeted delivery to cells and body have been created and studied. New carriers and delivery systems have low toxicity; provide the addressed delivery of the drugs to targeted organ, controlled release and action prolongation, possibility of the decrease of the anticancer toxis medicine dose as well as overcoming natural biological barriers in the body. Laboratory testing and preclinical trial of anticancer medicines on their basis were successfully carried out.
