THERMOLUMINESCENT DETECTORS OF IONIZING RADIATION WITH WIDE RANGE OF ABSORBED DOSE REGISTRATION
Purpose of the development:
The proposed thermoluminescent detectors (TLD) are developed for the registration of the absorbed dose of
ionizing radiation in the wide range thatincludes low, medium and high radiation doses.
The proposed detectors can be used in standard dosimetry systems in the field of scientific research, nuclear
power industry, and also in testing and radiation processing of materials, sterilization of food, medical products
and instruments, ets.
Recommended application field:
Nuclear power industry. Kontrol for radiation safety.
Elimination of radiation contamination in the various
sectors of the economy.
Advantages over analogues:
Development implementation will allow to produce the low-cost thermoluminescent detectors that have
the same (or better) technical characteristics in comparison with foreign commercial analogues.

Description of the development:
() The thermoluminescent detectors of ionizing radiation have been developed on the basis of new materials
that have improved characteristics in comparison with existing commercial analogues.
The main advantages of the proposed detectors are as follows:
Sensitivity to ionizing radiation (relative to TLD-100) ->10
Registration range of the absorbed radiation dose from 10(-4) to about 10(4) Gy
Position of the main glow peak 200*C of 320*C
Position of the peak optical emission 530 nm or 640 nm
