COGENERATION PLANTS WITH BIOGAS


Purpose of the development: The use of alternative fuels in internal combustion engines allows replacement of its traditional, significantly reduce emissions toxic substances and gases, giving the greenhouse effect.

Recommended application field: --- In independent power plants; --- In the agricultural sector; --- In the housing sector: the boiler, pump stations and treatment plants; --- In the metallurgical and chemical industries (need uninterrupted power supply); --- Forestry (logging enterprises, woodworking plants); --- For the electrification of remote areas and heat; --- On the oil, gas, coal fields, terminals, etc.

Advantages over analogues: The fuel in the engine-generators are used: --- Natural gas; --- Petroleum gas; --- Mine methane gas; --- Bio-gas or other flammable gas with a lower calorific value 1200 kcal / nm [3] and the gas pressure in the supply line to the engine 0.05-0.4 MPa (0.5-4 kgf / cm [2]). In gas engines with spark ignition system, it is acceptable to use gas with calorific 1200 kcal / nm [3], the gas pressure in the supply line to the engine),05-0, 4 MPa (0.5-4 kgf / MSM [2]) and gas temperature up to 40 * C. For gases with a low calorie, less than 1200 kcal / nm [3] the company is ready to offer engines with a fuel system that allows mixed gases with low-calorie or high-energy engines running on gas diesel cycle.

Technical and economic effect: Successfully implemented projects on offshore oil platforms in Vietnam. Used in Russia, Latvia and Italy. Since 2004, introduced a pilot project to use a gas engine generator power capacity of 500 kW at the mine "Shcheglovsky-deep" mine office "Donbass" to work in the degassing methane gas concentration of 25-40% and a pressure of 0.2-0.4 kgf / cm [2]

In 2010, under contract with the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine carried out developmental work on create standard series kogenegat biogas plants. The fuel in the engine using gaseous products obtained from the processing of waste companies farms and agribusiness iZhKH, landfill solid waste and local raw materials. Works were carried out jointly with the Institute of Gas and Engineering Thermophysics NASU. KSU prototype based on biogas engine generator ADHD-630, passed acceptance tested and recommended by the state commission for mass production.
