The design of the device includes in its membership the electronic unit and are connected with the sensor connector. Plug connection is located on the upper end of the casing. The control buttons are located on the front panel, which also is a graphical indicator. At the bottom rear of the device under the hood is a compartment for installing the batteries. The operation principle is based on measuring the frequency of the generator, which is included in the loop coil eddy current parametric converter. Generation frequency depends on the thickness of the coating. The measurement result is displayed on the digital display. LED device is designed to display the measured coating thickness in mm or m. On display also provides information on the state of battery charge and the type of sensor connected.
