Ultrasonic thickness measurement
Thickness UT-1 works by measuring the time of propagation of ultrasound in a product. Thickness has a pulse generator, which generates high-frequency electrical pulses to excite a piezoelectric transducer (probe). In this probe converts electrical signals into elastic (mechanical) vibration - ultrasonic waves. These waves propagate from the input to the reflecting surface (bottom) of the surface and re-taken and converted into an electrical signal by means of PET thickness gauge. The device calculates the thickness.
