Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge - Portable and easy to operate instrument to measure the thickness of the metal. Ultrasonic thickness measurement Thickness UT-1 works by measuring the time of propagation of ultrasound in a product. Thickness has a pulse generator, which generates high-frequency electrical pulses to excite a piezoelectric transducer (probe). In this probe converts electrical signals into elastic (mechanical) vibration - ultrasonic waves.
