Purpose of the development: Sorbent booms are designed to: - Maintain a clean water environment in areas of probable occurrence of the oil film (as a safeguard in the areas of oil, oil terminals, piers ports, shipyards, etc.); - Containment and recovery in cases of minor (focal) spills; - Containment and recovery in shallow water; - Protect the coast from oil pollution; - Collecting surface film of oil products in the first stage of cleaning (drives - averager oily water, sewers) and finishing stage of purification (ponds, lagoons) in wastewater treatment plants; - The protection of stormwater pits, containment of oil spills on hard surfaces (asphalt, concrete) in the gas stations, service stations, fuel depots, etc.

Sorbent booms "Ekonad" are a sleeve of polypropylene mesh with a diameter of 120mm, 200mm and 250mm, a length of 1-3m-filled polypropylene fibers or synthetic materials. For stuffing sorbent boom can be used: a) preparation "Ekonadin"; b) sorbents treated suspension of microbial degraders of petroleum hydrocarbons and other pollutants biorezistentnyh; c) sorbents treated with nutrients to stimulate the development of indigenous oil-oxidizing microorganisms; g) raw sorbents. The introduction of sorbent boom download nonpathogenic strains to select for industrial oxidizing microorganisms and nutrients provides: - Stimulation of natural self-cleaning process; - Almost no desorption phenomena of adsorbed petroleum products; - Your ability to (re-) use of the boom "Ekonad" at eliminating pollution light petroleum (gas condensate, gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel); - The possibility of disposing of used filler Coupons by plowing at inconvenient to landfill, incineration liquidation pollution from heavy oil - oil and oil.
