Purpose of the development: Express analysis of biochemical composition of aqueous solutions and recognition of individual chemicals including toxic: ions of heavy metals, chlorine and organophosphorus pesticides.

Recommended application field: Fields of application: --- Environmental monitoring of the environment; --- Molecular recognition in devices such as "artificial language"; --- Detection of toxic substances in water and food.

Advantages over analogues: Multisensor has some significant advantages over similar products. Used at the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Genetics, National Academy of Sciences for biochemical analysis of substances.

Operation is based on potentiometric study of a number of simultaneously ion-sensitive membrane connected to the surfaces of solid state transmitters and formation of multi-dimensional response signal from the test substance on the basis of "electronic tongue".
