EXPRESS ANALYZER OF VIRAL DISEASE "LEYKOPLAZM-2"

Purpose of the development: Leykoplazm-2 is used for the diagnosis of infectious diseases in veterinary medicine.

Recommended application field: Veterinary. Medicine. Biotechnology. Food industry. Environmental monitoring. Customs.

Advantages over analogues: Leykoplazm-2 is an alternative to traditional, more time-consuming and expensive methods. Due to its advantages it provides an opportunity to continuously monitor the condition of the animals. Autonomy and ease of maintenance Express analyzer allows it in the field, on farms, in local and regional veterinary offices. Benefits: - Short-time analysis; - Reliability; - Universality; - Autonomy; - Ease of maintenance; - The small size; - Low cost and expenses; - The ability to write the results to a computer; - Direct analysis without the use of chemicals; - Analysis of the blood draw without using a drop of milk.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Technical and economic effect: Express analyzer viral diseases Leykoplazm-2 is the result of almost a decade experience of the Institute of Semiconductor Physics, National Academy of Sciences in the development of biological and chemical sensors and is the last of a series developed biosensors, which are based on the phenomenon surface plasmon resonance.

Description of the development:
()
Express analyzer viral diseases Leykoplazm-2 was developed in a project to create optoelectronic biosensor for detecting bovine leukemia. However, due to the peculiarities of its design the device can be easily modified for other tasks of veterinary medicine. The principle of the device is to record the specific interaction of molecules analyte with selective sensing layer applied to the surface of the chip.
