SEPARATOR GAS-LIQUID (OIL OR WATER)


Purpose of the development: The separator is designed to separate the gas dissolved or placed in a liquid, for example, in oil, thermal or artesian water, including mineralized. The separator is separation and subsequent use of the water for other purposes.

Recommended application field: Used in geothermal energy in the production process and the use of geothermal coolant for heat and power purposes for gas separation, placed or dissolved in thermal water, and its subsequent use as a fuel in a gas engine or gas turbine engines that drive the generators in combined heat and power plants. perhaps use in the local gas supply in the region field, along with heating of Geothermal Heat Exchangers, or for disposal in bottles.

Technical characteristic: Key performance. Geothermal power plant project in the gas field Gadyachskom Poltava region: --- Debit thermal water from a single well - 1,500 cubic meters / day. --- High thermal water - 120 * C. --- Temperature of the water returning to the underground aquifer - 76 * C. --- Thermal power - 3.98 MW, of which: - The heating - 3.32 MW; - In hot water - 0.66 MW. --- Electric power - 0,66 MW

Advantages over analogues: The use of geothermal energy in the cage can take advantage of this useful component of geothermal fluid is dissolved in it natural gas, which in the current Technology has not only failed, but is undesirable component passing geothermal fluid through a heat transfer equipment, reducing the effectiveness of heat in it. Application in the oil separator can significantly improve degree of separation of associated gas in comparison with the existing oil industry separators. The advantage is also the use of the principle of the gravitational vortex separator separated flows, in contrast to existing single-threaded gravity separators. The separator is protected by a patent for an invention (Patent of Ukraine for invention № 82692).

The development stage readiness: Tested experimental exploitation order

Technical and economic effect: The prototype 800 kW and 60 kW thermal power operates on geothermal Field Medvedevka Dzhankoy region of Crimea, the thermal water which at daily production rate 600 m? contains 1 cubic meter of gas per 1 cubic meter of thermal water. Separator requires engineering development and manufacturing development of industrial design to put into production.

Thermal or artesian drinking water saturated with gas or oil with associated gas, raised to the surface of aquifers are passed through a separator, in which the gas is separated and sent for on-site use or disposal. If the gas has a useful application (such as methane), the after separation of the liquid is used as the energy source. If the liquid is separated from the gas - thermal water, it is used to heat and power purposes, if it is drinking water - is food technology, and if the oil - then, according to production facilities. If the gas is not useful element in the mixture, after the separation, he disposed of in accordance with applicable rules and regulations, and useless fluid returns to its original source.
