Purpose of the development: Sorbent booms "Ekonad" are designed to: - The protection of waters ports, shipyards, oil terminals, piers, rivers; - The protection of the coastline and coastal areas from oil pollution; - Protection podprichalnyh spaces; - Containment and recovery in case of focal spills; - Containment and recovery in shallow water; - Maintain a clean water environment in areas of probable occurrence of oil slicks.

Sorbent booms are separate sections filled with sorbing oleophilic material. At one end of the boom sections, a metal carabiner on the other - loop of the cord, excluding the possibility of sparking and provide fast and reliable connection. In some types of booms present upper bearing element (nylon cord), perceived longitudinal loads. Also, at one end of the boom sections have petal with Velcro tape, on other - just sticky tape. Combining thus exclude the possibility of boom sections seepage oil and oil products through the joints.
