Technical and economic effect: With the analyzer "COLIGUARD" can spend a few measurements (up to 6) in the day with the use of large sample volumes (up to 5000 ml), so that the temporal abnormalities are detected with high probability.

The device measures the specific enzymatic activity of E. coli and coliform bacteria at certain periods in near real time. The resulting value of enzymatic activity is used to automatically calculate the probable number of bacteria in a sample volume of 100 ml. "COLIGUARD" capable of analyzing up to six samples per day of up to 3000 ml. Measurement data is transmitted to the server and are measured using the client software «mboClient» on a standard PC. Data is available about 2 hours after the start of the measurement cycle. The software also provides a complete overview of the results of each measurement, performance measurement in time and state of the device.
