Purpose of the development: CPG is a key node in the NSR. High-voltage starters (CPG) on the basis of three-phase thyristor high voltage regulator with quasi frequency control mode designed for "soft" start-up and braking of synchronous and asynchronous high-voltage AC motors 3, 6, 10 kV power from 250 kW to 12.5 MW in electric The fan the load.

Technical characteristic: Specifications CPG: CPG provides asynchronous and quasi frequency start synchronous and asynchronous motors with limited amplitude inrush current. Start engine should be in the lowest level of load and moment of resistance is not greater than 0.4 * Mnom. During the start-up is provided by: - Limiting inrush current motor at a given level in the range Ip = (1.5 ... 3.0) Ir.; - Limiting inrush current (torque) during start-up, compared with direct start; - Reduction of the dynamic moments in striper "engine" - a "mechanism" in comparison with direct start; - Reducing inrush surge currents switching equipment, compared with direct start; - Reduction of losses in the stator winding and rotor at start (using the quasi frequency mode) compared to direct start; - Allowable number of starts to 12 per hour (in the mode of quasi frequency start); CPG has a local and a remote control and provides a link to an external automation system via a communication interface RS 232,485.

Advantages over analogues: CPG will provide the following protections: - Overload (time-current); - Overcurrent protection; - Protection against excessive number of failed thyristors; - Protection from one branch of the conduction abnormalities of the main circuit (protection against single-wave mode); - Protection from faulty power supply management system; - protection from extinction or undervoltage own needs; - Protection of the door power cabinet in the presence of high voltage. High-voltage starters CPG, compared with classical transmitters, using them as starters, are of low cost, small size.
