Advantages over analogues:
The main characteristics of polyethylene sheet:
- The good life (especially over molecular PE);
- High toughness, even at low temperatures (especially over molecular PE);
- High-strain characteristics;
- Excellent chemical resistance;
- Low density compared with other thermoplastics (g \ cm3)
- Low coefficient of friction
- Low adhesion
- Physiological harmlessness;
- High water resistance;
- Very good electrical and dielectric properties;
- Excellent weldability and machinability;
- Moderate mechanical strength, stiffness and tensile strength;
- Good resistance to high energy radiation (gamma and X-rays).
The development stage readiness:
Introduced in production
Technical and economic effect:
To modify the properties of the polyethylene added therein certain additives that improve, for example, conductive properties, resistance to ultraviolet radiation or increase the temperature characteristics.
Unlike polyethylene special is the ability to maintain their properties at high subzero temperatures. This explains the increasing use in the manufacture of polyethylene tanks than polypropylene.
Description of the development:
() POLYETHYLENE
PE-HWU high temperature resistant polyethylene, UV resistant, black.
PE-HWU-SK high temperature resistant polyethylene, UV resistant, black, laminated polyester fabric.
PE-HWU-GK high temperature resistant polyethylene, UV resistant, black, laminated fiberglass cloth.
Available as sheets and rods.
- Extruded: polyethylene sheets - panel thickness from 3 to 50mm.
plastic welding rod - welding wire.
Hollow and solid plastic rods of different diameters.
plastic rectangular profiles.
polyethylene pipes rectangular, round
- Pressed: polyethylene sheets - panel thickness: 10 - 200 mm.
Material Polyethylene (PE) is prepared by polymerizing ethylene gas at high and low pressure. The polyethylene obtained at high pressure (150-300MPa, 150-320? C), said high-pressure polyethylene (LDPE) PEBD (or low density LDPE), it is prepared by polymerizing ethylene in an autoclave or a tubular reactor. At low pressure (<4MPa, 80? C) complex
organometallic catalysts in a slurry or gas phase produced polyethylene (HDPE) PEHD (high density or HDPE). This marks polyethylenes PE-63, PE-80, PE-100, PE-300. Polyethylene as a primary raw material consists of a pellet of the same size, one color. Other modifications of the polyethylene has a higher performance harakteristikamii higher molecular number (PE-500, PE-1000). In other words - the high pressure polyethylene is a flexible material - all kinds of films, the lids and other similar products.
