TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

POLYPROPYLENE SIMONA

Purpose of the development: Polypropylene (PP) is designed for use in various industries and in the home, as engineering plastics with specific physical and chemical properties.

Recommended application field: Polypropylene sheet has been successfully used in chemical plants, and the tank structure, printing and textile industries, electroplating (production of plating baths and chemically resistant ventilation), food industry (confectionery, meat and dairy industry, canning), laboratory equipment, cottages (septic tank , swimming pools, etc.).

Technical characteristic: Characteristics of polypropylene sheet Specifications \ type polypropylene PP-H, PP-C Density g \ cm3 DIN EN ISO 1183 0.915 0.910 Yield stress, MPa, DIN EN ISO 527 33 26 Tensile Modulus, MPa, DIN EN ISO 527 1700 1200 Impact strength notched, kJ/m2 DIN EN ISO 45 179 9 Hardness, D, DIN EN ISO 868 72 67 Operating temperature range from 0 C0 to +100 -20 to +80 Physiologically harmless in accordance with the requirements of BfR yes yes Very good chemical resistance behaves in contact with many acids, alkalis, solvents, Fire resistance DIN4102 Normalnovosplamenyaemy (B2) DIN 4102

Advantages over analogues: The main characteristics of polypropylene sheet: - Low density; - Good resistance to high temperature (thermal load from 0 to 100 degrees C for PP-R. For PP-C -20 to +80 degrees C.) - High chemical and corrosion resistance; - High tensile strength; - Physiological harmlessness; - High water resistance; - Easy to handle; - Very good workability; - Low-impact strength; - Low resistance to abrasion; - Difficulty in bonding.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Description of the development:
()
Engineering plastics - Polypropylene PP-DWU Alpha Plus (PP-H), PP-C. Polypropylene sheet and rod PP-DWU Alpha Plus (PP-H), PP-C, manufactured by extrusion, homopolymer irradiated by alpha particles have a long thermal stability gray. Sheet polypropylene PP-DWU Alpha Plus (PP-H), PP-C, the resulting high molecular weight polypropylene termopressovaniya. Polypropylene PP-DWU Alpha Plus (PP-H), PP-C is produced in the form of sheets and rods: - Extruded: polypropylene sheet thickness: 3,4,5,6,8,10,12,15,20 mm; polypropylene welding rod (wire PP); polypropylene rods of different diameters. Polypropylene pipe square, round. - Extruded: polypropylene sheet thickness: 10 - 200 mm. Polypropylene (PP) was obtained by polymerizing propylene gas using a catalyst. In the polymerization process is divided into polypropylene homopolymer (PP-H), obtained by polymerizing monomers of the same, and a copolymer obtained by polymerization of different monomers. Homopolymers (PP-H) have a high hardness, stiffness and tensile strength, but at a temperature close to zero brittle. Copolymers (PP-C) have high ductility and can be used at a temperature of from -20 ° C to -80 ° C.
