COMPOSITE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM BY THE METHOD OF THE LOW-SPEED IMPACT
Purpose of the development:
The system is a hardware-software complex, which facilitates diagnosis of composite materials and plastics by low-velocity impact.
Recommended application field:
Engineering.
Advantages over analogues:
The main advantages of the system:
- Ability to identify local damage and areas with abnormal physical and mechanical characteristics in
composite materials;
- High sensitivity and resolution (minimum diameter of the defective area is - 2 mm);
- Analysis of the temporal and spectral characteristics of pulses of shock interaction;
- Processing of the results and diagnostic decisions in real time;
- Accumulation and statistical processing of data.
The development stage readiness:
Ready for application
Description of the development:
() The method used in the system, based on the relationship of low-energy parameters of the impact with the mechanical characteristics of the object of diagnosis.
Modes of operation of the system :
- Multi- diagnosis with the participation of the operator;
- Individual diagnosis after preliminary training system;
The system includes:
- Personal computer type IVM PC;
- Software performs accumulation, analysis and visualization of data;
- Analog -to-digital input-output ET1250, accumulating and primary processing of sensor signals ;
- Transducer ;
- Electronic power .
The system is intended for the development of tools for diagnosis and diagnostic products for laboratory and industrial conditions . System Software is an independent interface that provides control and management processes for collecting, processing , storing and interpreting information about the diagnosis , training and diagnostic decisions .
Software and hardware systems are compatible with stationary , industrial and mobile computers .
