INTELLIGENT TRAFFIC MONITORING SYSTEM


Purpose of the development: Intelligent traffic monitoring system is built on the basis of video surveillance systems and is designed to detect cars and vehicles without interference on the surface of the road.

Recommended application field: Transport. Established digital video surveillance system is able to recognize the state license plates of vehicles and create a database of license plates. The system can be used for the protection of open spaces (eg, parking cars), or selected parts of streets controlled by traffic monitoring system. It is possible to view the archive of the issues, and set the alarm will be triggered on the transport "dangerous" number. The system can be successfully used for the operational control and coordination of the tow vehicle.

The system consists of three main subsystems (modules): - Video monitoring of the volume of traffic; - Recognition of the state vehicle license plates; - GPS-monitoring and management of transport. Video monitoring subsystem in traffic: Users use fragments of a complete system, have a different response tactics and management subsystems geoinfomatsionnymi management systems (GIS), traffic lights, video cameras, roadside objects, electronic scoreboard is performed independently; Integrated interface to control systems of traffic lights:  - Connects arbitrary control;  - Integrated interface to the standard European system. Video sensor motion control - video systems. Monitoring the movement:  - Information about traffic jams;  - Image with video cameras;  - Information on the scoreboard;  - Information on road accidents. Motion Control Software - transmit / receive time-synchronized data. Plate recognition system. Module features: - Detection and identification of state license plates of vehicles in the image received from the selected channels; - Creation of a database of state license plates and work with it. The system interface - The interface provides ample opportunities for better interaction with the user. Controls and settings are arranged on the principle of combining homogeneous functions, navigation is performed by means of visual and understandable. The functions of the system of recognition of numbers of cars - the removal of the received image on the screen; - Search on the image of the vehicle license plate detection and recognition of their followed by the entry of a common base of recognized numbers - Comparison of the identified numbers with the numbers available in the database (for example, to search for the vehicle); - Storage on the hard drive of the computer color image of the vehicle with the recognized number; - View the database of recognized numbers and their stored images; - Creation of a special supplementary list archive is filled in by the user. Its element is the state license plate, the appearance of which in a controlled zone triggers an alarm (cars wanted, VIP cars, etc.). Video surveillance - Flexible configuration parameters of the system allows you to change: - The current settings of images that are taken; - The current length of archive storage; - The sensitivity of the recognition system to the center of the car; - Sensitivity to the search zone (zone recognition issues); - View images in the multi-screen (four cameras), or monoekrana (one camera); - User-friendly presentation of the events recorded in the system as a list containing all the elements of the base list of recognized signs indicating the channel itself recognized, the image of which was recorded this number, the date and time of detection. Archive (database numbers) allows you to view the results of the system, ie the results of license plate recognition. Archive for the convenience of working with him has several areas in which arranged the information gained from the system. These areas are: - Base recognized numbers; - Base of rooms in search.
