TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

THE SURFACTANTS BASED ON RENEWABLE BOTANICALS

Purpose of the development: In IBONH National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on the basis of rapeseed and sunflower oils and their by-products from cleaning synthesized a number of environmentally friendly bioPAR that the results of the tests are designed for use as a high-performance emulsifiers, stabilizers invert emulsions for the oil and gas industry, thickeners for grease, corrosion inhibitors and lubricants base and conservation funds for agricultural equipment, downhole equipment and machinery.

Recommended application field: The oil and gas industry. Agricultural equipment, downhole equipment and machinery.

Advantages over analogues: Synthesized bioPAR compared with widely used petrochemical counterparts with a long and unsatisfactory biodegradation (emultal, CBP, EU, Petrochemical, emulzhel, naftenol, etc.), have the following advantages. 1. The raw material for the synthesis of bioPAR are by-products of refining vegetable oils or vegetable oils that are non-toxic and environmentally friendly. 2. The high capacity of the proposed anti-emulsifying stabilizer, is expressed at a low filtration, increased viscosity and structural strength of the invert emulsions with their participation, which allows the use of these emulsions in silencing as drilling wells and drilling fluids. 3. High thermal stability and bioPAR obtained based on these invert emulsions (more than 30 days at a temperature of 120 ° C), unlike petrochemical analogues - 3-13 days at 80 ° C allows the use in an emulsion at a temperature 80-140 ° C. 4. BioPAR can be used for the preparation of cutting fluids. 5. BioPAR exhibit high protective activity and can serve as inhibitors of corrosion of metal pipes and equipment or applications to the conservation oils. 6. Increased adhesion to rubble and cement stone can recommend them to the asphalt and bitumen compositions for road construction and repair work in the wells.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Description of the development:
()
The urgency of the problem. In Ukraine, the oil and gas industry annually uses more than 27 tonnes of surface-active agents (surfactants) and the means for industrial use and about the same for the production of detergents and cosmetic-products hygienic. However, due to insufficient capacity or lack of self-produced their import is 100% for cationic and ampholytic South Africa to 22% non-ionic surfactant as low as 900 to $ 3,000. Per ton. Another important factor to this problem, especially for the energy sector, which consumes about 50% of all couples is increasing environmental pressures on the environment, since the products of petroleum origin are the hardly biodegradable products (10-30%) and in the use of 36% they remain in the environment. Furthermore, for each tonne of spent an average of 4.25 tons, equivalent to atmospheric emissions of about 13 tons C02. Synthesized bioPAR well dispersed in the liquid aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, light oils, petroleum, gasoline, gas condensate, mineral and vegetable oils. Forming a gel structure in the absorption layer and in the bulk solution, they exhibit a high stabilizing effect on the emulsion and emulsion-suspension system, ie inhibit coagulation and flocculation of the dispersed droplets of the inner hydrophilic phase, preferably water. Emulsions of the concentration of emulsifier 0.5-2% stabilizer have high structural rheological characteristics and thermal stability in the absence of sedimentation filtration.
