Purpose of the development: Developed the concept of upgrading sewage treatment plants designed for biological treatment of municipal wastewater.

Advantages over analogues: Embodiment of the concept will provide the following: - Introduction to the existing structures of psychrophilic EGSB-reactor relieve and improve the performance of the aeration tanks at a low cost for the renovation and modernization; - Create inexpensive projects for new construction CBS with unit costs of electricity (no more than 0.2-0.5 kW. Developing the concept of modernization of wastewater treatment biological treatment of municipal wastewater, which provides: - Replacement of the primary clarifiers for psychrophilic anaerobic EGSB-reactor (expanded granular sludge bed) with an extended layer of pellets; - Application for aerobic purity structures showing signs of air filters with easy loading and aeration tanks; - Ensuring the continued removal of organics from partially destruktirovannoy EGSB-reactor to the next stage of treatment; - Provide clear sludge from the aerobic treatment stage in EGSB-reactor; - Provide after-treatment of wastewater from nitrogen-containing compounds (denitrification) - The use of an anaerobic reactor (ABR) for wastewater denitrification; - The use of heavily sludge lagoons; - Use of jet aeration using submersible sludge pumps for deeper oxygen saturation sludge directly into the aerator.
