Work spectrometer based on a completely new, having no analogues in the world, the source of the spectrum with non-self discharge. Structurally spectrometer combines: an optical block electronic, computing complexes, the pump foreline, bottle with an inert gas. The essence of a fundamentally new method of obtaining the spectrum is non-self-excitation of the gas discharge by means of electron pairs in the dry residue of the liquid sample being analyzed, pre-translated into atomic vapor thermal heating. Atomization takes place under inert gas (helium or argon). For atomic vapor uses a spiral tungsten cathode - atomizer, which is also the source of thermal electrons. Using the original source of the spectrum in the device reduces the intensity of the continuous background and, as a consequence, greatly reduces the limit of detection elements analyzed in comparison with classical methods atomic emission and atomic absorption. The main part of the spectrometer is the atomization chamber with windows made of quartz glass for the output radiation at a monochromator, hatch for automatic feeding of the sample and the window for observation. The camera is mounted on a special table that provides spatial adjustment. The analysis is as follows. The sample with an automatic dispenser (automatic feed samples) applied to the cathode of the spiral - the atomizer. By heating the cathode electrical current carried drying and, if necessary, "digestion" of the sample in vacuum or in an atmosphere helium. Then the chamber is filled with helium to a predetermined pressure and produce a pulse heating to a temperature katoda- atomizer in the range 2000-3000 degrees C. Liquid helium consumption at the same time - 0.2 .... 0.4 cubic dm. for analysis. Recommended grade A helium (helium mass fraction 99.995%). The most distinctive chemical elements, measured using copper, zinc, cadmium, lead, nickel, chromium, manganese, cobalt, arsenic, calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, aluminum, titanium, cesium, dysprosium, europium, gallium, indium, lithium, and others. In addition, it registers SEV-30 trace nonmetals, such as carbon, iodine, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur. these elements atomic - absorption devices are not measured. Measuring the concentrations of heavy metals in the sample produced by the exhaust agreed methodologies and industry Activities. Standard samples of solutions of metals are not included.
