Technical and economic effect: The developed system allows 300 times the speed and determination of octane number in 1000 to reduce fuel consumption measurement. The complex is cheaper than all the instruments of this class does not need to use a special room, served by a single person.

The amount of harmful substances released into the environment of automobile engines, depending on the quality of motor fuels. One measure of the quality of gasoline octane number is determined by the arbitral Octane CFR F2U - a bulky device that requires special facilities, time for a study - at least 30 minutes. At the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine developed a set of instruments for the assessment of environmental safety of transport fuels, which combines the measurement of sulfur content and detonation properties of fuels.
