Purpose of the development: Designed for the formation of mechanical micro and nano-displacements in nanotechnology.

Nanomanipulators class 3XL-piezo is a 3-axis manipulator system with a joystick or computerized controls, which are combined in itself extremely high resolution (~ 10 nm), continuous temperature stability (drift less than 5 nm / h at 20 ° C) and a lot of moving (15 mm on each axis.) Know-how design is an innovative linear piezoelectric motor class 11 * 24 resonant type of development of the enterprise and its management principles. When the motor is de-energized, it provides an automatic "lock" of the movement, with virtually nonexistent backlash and drift. In the past 40 years, motorized micromanipulator were built by the standard procedure of conversion of rotational movement of the motor (stepper or DC) into linear motion of the linear carriage. This, quite complicated scheme, imposes stringent requirements on the nodes converting rotary motion into linear. Such schemes are resistant to further miniaturization and have limited (especially upper) range in speed and linear movement. The proposed micromanipulator is made by a fundamentally new scheme with direct conjugation of a piezoelectric resonator with a precision of a standard rail, eliminating the conversion of units of movement. Compared to conventional motorized micromanipulators has a small size, high resolution, wide range of high-precision movement, a large range of adjustment for speed.
