Purpose of the development:
Purpose:
Specialists of the Institute in the direction of non-destructive testing in conjunction with the center "Leotest-Medium" has developed a number of eddy current flaw detectors Leotest-VD,-MDF used for detection and evaluation of surface and subsurface defects fatigue and corrosion. These flaw detectors allow detection of defects in the nodes of titanium alloys for the first time possible to use eddy current testing for the diagnosis of chassis parts (brackets, levers, yokes) aircraft.

- Kiev aircraft factory number 410TSA to control the drums wheels;
- Zaporozhye Machine-Building Design Bureau "Progress" to them. AG Ivchenko to detect internal cracks
blades of aircraft engines;
- Control Technology crack length of not less than 1 mm (not beyond the rivet head). This technology
confirmed by the copyright certificate number 1579222 (VM Uchanin, VN Tsirg). Used in the Tupolev (Russian).
Description of the development:
() The main features of eddy current probes (VSP) Leotest HP and MDF:
- Flaw detectors are highly sensitive to fatigue cracks, resistance to
noise, ergonomics, small size and weight, as well as the general nomenclature of sensors to monitor various
portions of the product;
- High sensitivity to long and short cracks, pores and local corrosive ulcers (pitting)
- Minimal impact of the gap between the WWW and object control;
- Large depth control and resolution;
- The Best (compared to peers) the ratio of the size of the WWW and depth control;
- CAP adapted to different flaw detectors (from F.rster, ROHMANN, TMT and others) using connectors or FISCHER LEMO;
- Devices and passed the state tests are included in the State Register of Ukraine of measuring equipment.
