IMMUNOCHROMATOGRAPHIC TESTS FOR TUBERCULOSIS DIAGNOSE
Purpose of the development:
Immunoassay using recombinant proteins in Mycobacterium ekspressovannyh Escherichia Coli intended to diagnose tuberculosis.
Recommended application field:
Medicine. Pharmacology.
Advantages over analogues:
Development of diagnostic tests using the recombinant proteins of Mycobacterium is promising due to their effectiveness, low cost and safety.
The development stage readiness:
Ready for application
Description of the development:
() Proteins MRT63 MRT83 and Mycobacterium tuberculosis can be used to develop immunodiagnostic reagents because of their high immunogenicity. The diagnostic test is based on an extremely rapid immunochemical method - immunochromatography on a nitrocellulose membrane . The test comprises applying the antigens on a nitrocellulose membrane, and further development with antibodies to these antigens with colloidal gold particles . The method allows to obtain specific results in just a few minutes. Another promising approach is to develop a semi-quantitative immunoassay test. The result of this test indicates not only the presence or absence of an immune response , but also makes it possible to evaluate the quality.
