TECHNOLOGY FOR PRODUCING THE OXIDE COATINGS
Purpose of the development:
The technology is designed to produce oxide-ceramic coatings on aluminum, magnesium and zirconium alloys electrochemically in plasma electrolyte.
Recommended application field:
Engineering. Areas of application: paper feed mechanisms working parts, insulating wedges plungers windings of turbine generators, transfer pumps Piston liner, piston crowns internal combustion engines, the layers on aluminum prior to painting or coating enamels and others.
Advantages over analogues:
Oxide-structures have high adhesive, insulating, heat-resistant, anti-corrosion and anti-friction properties.
The development stage readiness:
Ready for application
Description of the development:
() The technology allows you to create oxide-structure on the surfaces of aluminum, magnesium and zirconium alloys electrochemically in plasma electrolyte. The microhardness of these structures on aluminum alloys reaches 15-30 GPa for magnesium - 10-12 GPa zirconium - 11.7 GPa. The optimum thickness of the hardened layer reaches 100-250 m, maximum - 450 microns.
