Known chlorine ions present in the contour waters have a significant effect on the structure of stainless steel tubes. Therefore, control of the content of chlorine in the water outline plants plays an important role in preventing the deterioration of pipelines. The analyzer can be successfully used for environmental monitoring, especially of economic reservoirs, as well as to control the drinking water supply system in the framework of sanitary inspections. The basis of the analyzer of chloride ions on the method of potentiometric determination of the concentration of which is to measure the electromotive force (EMF) occurring in a flow cell of a potentiometric measuring unit between silver chloride electrode, one of which is washed by the reference solution containing no chlorine ions, and the other - the analyzed probe. During operation of the device dissolves the activated electrodes. The reaction of the measurement results and management of the hydraulic diagram of the device is performed by the built-in processor. The instrument has a certificate on metrological certification.
