HYPERFINE POLARIZER BASED ON LYOTROPIC CHROMATIC RARE CRYSTALS FOR A RARELY CRYSTAL DISPLAY


Purpose of the development: Purpose: - Use as an internal polarizer in flexible displays on plastic substrates, with birefringence plastic does not affect the image quality. - Use as a compensator for flat display products. Compensating element on the basis of these films can be optimized for almost any liquid crystal display: TN, STN, VA, IPS.

Recommended application field: Electronics.

Advantages over analogues: advantages: - Polarizing polarizer efficiency reaches 99% of the index dichroism is 12; - Crossed polarizers exhibit very low transmission (0.1 ~ 0.2%) values at wide viewing angles. for comparison to traditional dichroic polarizers transmission is 3%; - Applying the method of printing on a variety of substrates.

Thin films made of dye deposited on the substrate from lyotropic liquid crystalline hromonichnoi (LHRK) phase. The mixture was balanced by chromatic colors for in the spectral range from 450 nm to 800 nm. The dried film had a thickness of dyestuffs less than 1 micron.
