The unit is part of the automated remote control system (ADCS ) of the functional state of the rolling stock of rail transport . Its principle of operation is based on the use of dvuhspektralnogo infrared radiometer , a sensor device which is the original vibration resistance pyroelectric detector radiation. The device is an outdoor camera is mounted to the rail base . In protective camera housing contains : opto- mechanical unit and a microprocessor , combined with automated systems management and monitoring of operating parameters of the rolling stock of rail transport . Operation of the unit is controlled by a computer that is part of the ADCS .
