The principle of operation is based on the realization of the magnetic Barkhausen effect. Magnetization jumps in the form of EMF impulses, appearing due to the magnetization of the ferromagnetic sample surface, are registered by an indicator coil, then the signal becomes stronger, is processed and displayed on the device's panel.
