Purpose of the development: Purpose. Magnetic non-destructive inspection of physical and mechanical properties and structure of wholesale manufacture products and their automated sorting according to the results.

Recommended application field: Metallurgical and machine-building enterprises, engaged in mass production of the same products.

Advantages over analogues: The device secures the separation of the inspected details on non-defective and defective according to the value of measured magnetic flux. The separate calculation of the total amount of controlled and rejected details (up to 65,535 pieces of each type). Non-destructive inspection and sorting according to rejection criteria in line production of cast iron and steel products.

Control is conducted under condition of the non-contact magnetization of product in open magnetic circuit in the process of movement through the area stationary magnetic field and the non-contact measurement of the residual magnetic flux in the product on the basis of the measurement of product magnetic condition during its movement through the area, where the magnetizing field is compensated. The source of direct magnetizing current is realized on the basis of the resonance converter type. The use of modern microcontroller allowed to replace the analog signal processing of the converter by digital signal processing .
