DESIGN OF DOCTOR CHAMBER WITH РО(S)[2]ITEC COATING


Purpose of the development: The doctor chamber is designed for printing on packaging materials using flexographic technology with a central roller.

Recommended application field: Polygraphy.

Advantages over analogues: Innovative new technology is to change the pre-treatment and coating itself. Before applicationof the coating, it is necessary to fine sand blast the surface of the doctor chamber. During the development of coatings were tested four of the coating. Only specially modified based coating Xylan 8110 provided: - High resistance to chemical environments (to pH = 13) and solvents; - Ease of cleaning and washing of; - Resistance to Abrasion; - Ra less than 1.6 microns; - The coating process does not affect the geometric tolerances of the doctor chamber; - Proportional coating, including the hollows; - No surface defects - cohesive and adhesive; - Minimum requirements for the surface.

The doctor chamber (DC) in the flexo printing machine is a key element which ensures the paint reserve and the start of the transfer to the imprinted material. The DC is optimized in terms of the flow of paint inside, weight for manipulation with it when cleaning and overall functionality of the surface in contact with the paint. Most of the components for flexographic machines the company produces itself, bringing innovation to the components of economic efficiency and high added value. All of the development of the chamber doctor blade coated RO (S) [2] ITEC solved with a partner - the State Scientific Research Institute of Materials ("SVUM" a.s. Prague). "SVUM" a.s. Prague is a private research organization that specializes mainly in the research and development of metals, plastics, composites, and the testing of their properties in the ac-credited laborarories. "SVUM" a.s. Prague ensures 100 % quuality industrial coating application and guarantees full functionality of customer requirements, enabling the company SOMA successful deployment of 3-d generation of DC into their printing machines. This development - Innovation is the successful optimization of the circuit assembly machine from the point of view of the customer's requirements for geometry (tolerance), ergonomy (manipulability) and the surface function of the part.
