METATARSOPHALANGEAL REPLACEMENT OF THE BIG TOE
Purpose of the development:
Orthopedic analog metatarsophalangeal replacement of the big toe is designed for partial or total prosthesis.
Recommended application field:
Medicine.
Advantages over analogues:
Advantages:
- аngle between the metatarsal and the phalangeal components in total joint replacement is 20 degrees.
This arrangement corresponds better to the natural anatomical position of MTP-joint.
- тhe individual components of the prosthesis can be combined in a mutual way across the dimensional product line.

Description of the development:
() After successful surgery, followed by verification and optimization of the functional characteristics of the implant surgery techniques and tools prosthesis received the CE mark (certified entire size range). In conducting hemiarthroplasty (partial hip replacement) is replaced by only a base of proximal phalanx of the finger. The prosthesis consists of a phalanx component of a titanium alloy (Ti6AI4V ELI) with a porous layer of titanium and coated hydroxyapatite (for better bone ingrowth and implant fixation) and the contact phalanx saddle alloy CoCrMo. Titanium longeal component is produced in four sizes.
In the case of total hip replacement, set both artificial parts of the MTP joint.
