Measurements are made on the basis of information and computer technology generation and processing of digital maps of the surface of the stone. It is proposed to use for monitoring geometric characteristics of the individual structural elements of the surface: the size, area, angle of orientation, the distance between the elements. These methods are well combined with quality surface facing stones that are used in the mining-geological and construction industries. Designed and produced a complex with the help of the results can be used to solve various problems in the construction, mining and processing of natural stone cladding. Obtained: invention patent number 78301 "Method particle size analysis of sedimentary rocks", declarative patent for invention number 71412 "A method for controlling the appearance of the surface of products from a facing stone."
