HIGH PRECISION SOLID MICROSENSORS FOR TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT IN EXTREME CONDITIONS

Purpose of the development: Micro resistance thermometers based on germanium films on gallium arsenide are designed for use in extreme sensory electronics.

Recommended application field: Cryogenics, cryogenic research laboratories; superconducting particle accelerators, nuclear and fusion energy, rocket and space technology; cryomedicine.

Advantages over analogues: The main advantages compared with similar products: - Wide operating temperature range (0,03-500 K); - Monotone thermometric characteristics over a wide temperature range; - High sensitivity and measurement accuracy; - Micro dimensions and low inertia; - High radiation resistance; - Low temperature measurement errors in the presence of strong magnetic fields.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Technical and economic effect: use: 1. Microsensors temperatures were used in the framework of international cooperation in the experiments for the study of turbulent flows in liquid helium at low and ultralow temperatures (0.02 - 4.2 K) at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory ( Tallahassee , USA) , University of Florida ( y Gainesvile , USA) , Center for Nuclear Research (Grenoble , France) , Abbas Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics ( Trieste , Italy) , the Institute of Physics (Prague , Czech Republic) . 2 . In the draft of the European Space Agency and the National Aerospace Agency of the United States.

Description of the development:
()
Micro resistance thermometers based on germanium films on gallium arsenide produce static and dynamic measurement of temperature in the range of 0,03 K to 500 K under conditions of strong magnetic fields and high levels of ionizing radiation.
