TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

SYNTHESIS TECHNOLOGY OF NANOSTRUCTURED LIGHT-EMITTING MATERIALS BASED ON COMPOUNDS TYPE A-SI (1-XY) O (X) C (Y): H (: TB)


Purpose of the development: The technology is used for the synthesis of nanostructured materials based on light-emitting compound type a-SI (1-XY) O (X) C (Y): H (: TB).

Recommended application field: Prospective application: use as a heat-resistant "white" phosphor for fluorescent lighting or white LEDs, an active light-emitting material for optoelectronics and sensor technologies.

Advantages over analogues: Technology is joint with silicon technology, using silicon wafers 100 mm in diameter. The material is stable at temperatures up to 600-800 0C. Ability to manage the color shade of light ("temperature" of white light). The starting materials used in the technology itself and its final material are environmentally safe disposal.

Synthesis technology developed new light-emitting material layers based on nanostructured silicon oxycarbide with the possibility of incorporation of rare earth elements for controlling the color tint of the radiation. For the synthesis of the technology of the deposition material by reactive magnetron sputtering of a crystalline silicon carbide in the gas mixture of argon and methane.
