DEVICE FOR COLD PLASMA STERILIZATION OF MEDICAL PRODUCTS WITH DC GLOW DISCHARGE (SGR-100)


Purpose of the development: PDS plasma sterilization system 100 is designed for cold sterilization of medical instruments containing temperature-sensitive components . These tools can take place , which is difficult to diffusion , namely , the inner surface of the slit or a long narrow tube. Using plasma sterilizer PDS 100 not only provide a solution to environmental problems , but also lead to a significant increase in economic efficiency by reducing the duration of the sterilization cycle sterilization. Plasma sterilization technology approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine .

Job plasma sterilizer is based on the use of a dc glow discharge , ensuring the creation of a dense plasma and visokoodnorodnoy directly in the space , in which there are products that are sterilized . This discharge plasma is more efficient for the rapid sterilization of medical instruments , especially products with long passages or holes. The sterilization process comprises repeated cycles of treatment consists of two stages - the "steam " and " plasma ." During the first phase, the chemical vapor is injected into the pre- evacuated sterilizer chamber . A special system of injection and evaporation provided a very effective steam penetration into difficult places and packages of processed products . After the " vapor " phase again evacuated chamber and ignited a dc glow discharge . Medium which is used for plasma generation , a mixture of the vapor of hydrogen peroxide and water, and molecular oxygen generated by the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide.
