PORTABLE WORKSTATION FOR INTEGRATED RADIATION MONITORING OF ENVIRONMENT FACILITIES "FOOD LIGHT"


Purpose of the development: Highly sensitive measuring instrument is designed to measure radioactivity in fixed and mobile environments.

Recommended application field: Measurement of radioactivity: - In water; - In liquid and solid foods; - In soil samples; - Construction materials, wood, etc..

Technical characteristic: Technical data: - The instrument used scintillation detectors based on crystals of CsI (TI), size 63 x 63 mm; - The device has a 40-mm lead shield; - Food is placed in the measurement vessel Marinelli 1 liter; - The volume of the liquid sample - at least a liter weight of dry sample - not less than 1 kg.

Advantages over analogues: Technical solutions implemented in this instrument, provide a lifetime of at least 10 years and mean time to failure of at least 10,000 hours. All this makes the Food Light leader among similar devices. Use the device any person. Also, the device has a very important function - quick sort of food. It allows, without waiting for completion of the measurement, to identify the contaminated product.

This device - this is the best combination of sensors and meters with the know -how , which uses the original software and algorithms for processing pulses and provides very high sensitivity , stability and speed of calculation results. Has a wide spectral range , increases the possibility of defining different types of radionuclides. Used electronic components leading manufacturers - Hamamatsu, Intel, Altera, characterized by high reliability and low power consumption . Description : In the measuring range up to 40 Bq green LED lights within a measuring range from 40 to 100 Bq Bq yellow LED in the range above 100 Bq red indicator lights . Measurement ranges are regulated by the operator in accordance with local regulations ( radiation norms ) .
