Purpose of the development: Carbon sorbent bandage is designed for use in thermal burns.

Recommended application field: Medicine.

Advantages over analogues: Using a damp absorbing carbon dressings immediately after thermal injury will ensure the preservation of a significant part of the epithelial layer of the skin, the inhibition of the further development of local manifestations of burn disease, rapid relief of pain and reduction of the time of wound healing. Especially true for the early (pre-clinical) treat childhood burn injury.

Application: - Bandage drench cold antiseptic solution ( furatsilina , chlorhexidine , etc.), in their absence, to get a cold tea or cold boiled water ; - Apply a bandage so that fully cover the area burn injury and reddened skin around ; - Apply a bandage on a thin film to prevent drying in the next 12 hours and minimum retention bandages ( bandages, adhesive paper ) on top ; - The procedure is repeated 2-3 times. Carbon sorbent dressing should be in the home medicine cabinet and automotive , manufacturing , complete equipment of rescue teams.
