Obtained by the original drug EBV -specific antigen on which established the first domestic highly sensitive and specific immunoassay test system for the detection of antibodies (IgG and IgM) to the Epstein - Barr virus , carried out its comprehensive description created panel of positive and negative sera , which are guaranteed to contain or does not contain antibodies to this virus . Set low level of antigenic relationship with EBV and cytomegalovirus , herpes simplex virus type 1 , herpes zoster virus . Established test system allowed a certain extent characterize the state of collective immunity to EBV among different population groups in Kiev , in particular, patients with infectious mononucleosis , tuberculosis, hematological diseases , healthy population groups ( a large percentage of it was made of healthy pregnant women , donors) and first obtain evidence of a fairly wide circulation of this virus . Specificity and sensitivity, the test system is 100 % and 96 %, respectively. Developed a method for antigen with EBV lymphoblastoid cell culture , which is patented . A scheme of immunoassay based on the obtained antigen composition and selected the components in this test system optimized mode successive reaction steps .
