The basis of this method, the quantitative growth rate corrosive bacteria in the presence of the tested materials as carbon source. Also, take into account changes in the physico - mechanical properties of coatings occurring under the action of bacteria : tensile strength and adhesion strength ( coating of the polymeric tapes ) , softening temperature and extensibility ( for mastic materials ) . Standards apply to film , mastic and coatings used to protect the trunk and utility pipelines, underground storage tanks , communication cables and other structures. DSTU 3999-2000 , GOST 30738-2001 .
