Description of the development:
() In coal mines up to 80 % of methane supplied to the coal-mining areas of goaf coal mines. Asking biotechnology based on the oxidation of methane coming from the goaf coal mines, methanotrophic bacteria. In the first stage the bacteria grown on the shaft of the fermentation installation. Thereafter, they are immobilized on a rock surface , which fills the space developed pits . This is achieved by coating a slurry of methanotrophs in a nutrient medium suitable composition on the surface of the rock . There methanotrophic bacteria multiply and consume methane, reducing its allocation of coal mining on land by 60%.
