The purpose of the system is to reduce the production costs by automating the process of heating ingots in the soaking pits. 42 heating system is in a well run manager, two senior and 8 ordinary heater. The system is based on programmable controllers of SIMENS, operator stations in special computer cabinets, workstations with LCD displays based on SKADA - Systems In Touch. In order to reduce the cost of system used sensors and actuators manufactured in CIS countries among the most reliable. The system provides: - Sustainable technology heating ingots; - The quality of the heating bars with respect to their original temperature state; - Maximum capacity of the heating wells; - The smallest waste of metal; - Without heating the ingots melted surface; - The lowest fuel consumption; - Resistance heating wells. The system was implemented at "Ispat KARMET" Karaganda.
