Purpose of the development: Reagent "Unico (tm)" is intended for cleaning and disinfection of water in the system of drinking and industrial water supply, waste water and swimming pool water.

Recommended application field: Water supply.

Advantages over analogues: - Eliminates the primary chlorination at the initial purification step , providing a significant reduction of organochlorine compounds formed in purified water even before the filing of the chloro reagent reservoir of clean water ; - Reduces the consumption of chlorine disinfection in the secondary reagent ; - Characterized by a high antimicrobial activity against microorganisms and viruses (including rotavirus and noroviruses ); - Increases prolonging bactericidal and virucidal effect (up to 20 days); - Reduces corrosion of pipelines for transporting purified water thereon , reducing the iron content therein , including in dead sections of the network ; - In most cases it provides an opportunity to improve the physico- chemical characteristics of purified water color . turbidity , oxidation, the residual content of iron and aluminum , as well as eliminate the use of flocculants .

Technical and economic effect: The economic effect of replacing traditionally used coagulants " Unico (tm) " is achieved by : - Reduce the cost of acquisition of chlorinated reagents and flocculants ; - The possibility of abandoning the use of liquid chlorine by introducing a solution of sodium hypochlorite before the reservoir of clean water ; - Lengthening the duration of the filtration due to the formation in the coagulation of cereal with greater sorption capacity ; - Downsizing service water treatment process ; - Increase in the life of the metal pipe by reducing the degree of corrosion.

It is a versatile reagent new generation , combining the properties of a coagulant , flocculant . disinfectant corrosion inhibitor . " Unica ( TM ) " is a composition obtained on the basis of aluminum sulfate and polyhexamethyleneguanidine hydrochloride ( PHMG - GC) . It is available as an aqueous solution with a mass fraction of alumina is not less than 16 %. Mass fraction PHMG - GC in the reagent is : in aqueous solution - 0,06-0,14 % , in granular form - 0,12-0,28 %. Reagent held in Russia all the necessary tests and is approved for use in potable water supply ( Opinion number 10 - P dated 10.04.2012 , the FSI " NIIMT " RAMS) . Eurasian patent obtained .
