Flotation is applied to places where you can not use any method of filtration, sedimentation. A typical example would be excessive thickening of the sludge at municipal wastewater treatment industrial water, etc. The process uses the property of small bubbles make the surface dirt. The result is a dense foam on the surface, which meets regularly and is eliminated. For greater efficiency is typically used chemical vapor deposition before the flotation.
