The basis of the medical device is cooling of the human head to a predetermined temperature. Operation of the device based on the Peltier thermoelectric effect. Device "Altec-7012" consists of two functional units: the control unit and the cooling helmet. In turn, the control unit includes a thermoelectric cooling system based on Peltier modules, temperature controller, circulating pump and fan cooling the hot side of the thermoelectric modules.
