COMPUTER MODEL OF STRESS-STRAIN STATE OF THE MAIN PIPELINES AT REPAIR CRACK-LIKE DEFECTS

The computer model is used to calculate the stress-strain state and the safety factor of the welded pipe.

Description of the development:
() Using this model can improve the accuracy of calculation of the reserve strength of the welded pipe with a longitudinal surface crack-like defect in the longitudinal seam under the action of internal static pressure and residual welding stresses, as well as to determine the limiting pressure for calculating the actual margin of safety. The computer model is based on a software package Ansys Workbench and developed at the Department of welding production.
