Purpose of the development: New estimates of the invention are intended for separation of the slag from the surface of the weld metal, as well as for quality assessment of the fusion process.

The assessment method of separation of slag from the metal surface coating is that the sample with post-weld slag coating shall be subjected to the bending angle along the seam , and make an assessment of separability largest angle at which the slag removal . A new method is that the deposition is carried out for a series of samples of the same width and different lengths and thicknesses , the width of the sample is less than the width of the band formation of plastic deformations resulting from the thermal cycle of welding, and the sample thickness should be more than twice the depth of penetration , while this sample is determined , which is separated slag coating during thermal stress in cladding , and the evaluation criteria of the department is the length of the sample .
