Purpose of the development: SEARCH-2006 receiver is designed to search for any type of damage to any power cables with voltage 0.4-35 kV electro and induction methods.

Recommended application field: Control parameters of cable lines.

Technical characteristic: Main technical characteristics: - Methods of fault: electro pulse and induction; - Display: oscillographic (on screen graphic liquid crystal display) and auditory (sound on the headphones); - Maximum depth of the cable using the electroacoustic method m: 4; error in determining the location of the damage electro-acoustic method (to a depth of 1m cable): not more than = 0.25.

The receiver may be used : electro-acoustic method to determine the fault location of underground power cables during spark breakdown core to the shell ( type SP MP ); electro-acoustic method to determine the fault location of underground power cables at a remote single-phase fault on the cable core shell (MP type SDO) ; electro-acoustic method for solving the problem of choosing a particular cable from a bundle of open cables; determine the locations of poor contact shell with cable gland ; definition cable routing and fault location induction method in underground and open cables.
