Purpose of the development: The technology is designed to improve the efficiency of burning fuel oil, waste oil-contaminated water and reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere through the preparation and combustion of fuel in the form of water-fuel emulsions (VME).

Recommended application field: Development can be used in thermal generation plants operating on heavy fuel oil as the main, backup or emergency fuel.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Technical and economic effect: Technology can save up to 8% of the annual consumption of fuel oil, dispose of oil contaminated water as a fuel additive, and reduce pollutant emissions from combustion products: oxides of nitrogen - 15-30% of soot and hydrocarbons (including carcinogenic) - in 2-3 times the sulfur dioxide - 20-50%.

Implementing technology provides: intensification of combustion and reducing the size of furnace flame , reducing carbon deposits on heat transfer surfaces , reducing the intensity of the process coking injectors stabilize combustion flame when watered fuel oil , increased uniformity and improve the structure of fuel oil , the possibility of disposing of oily water by dosing additives to fuel oil , followed by the burning of a VME boilers ; operational current control and humidity control with a view to its VME burning with optimal value . Installing small-sized and mounted in black oil boiler the conservation and use of existing production equipment .
