Purpose of the development: Izatizon - a medicine intended for antiviral, anticancer, antimicrobial and immunocorrective treatment.

Advantages over analogues: Izatizon refers to a group of non-toxic substances. Not inhibit hematopoiesis , has no cumulative properties . In applying the inductive phase immunogenesis reduces the manifestations of anaphylactic shock , the property has to increase performance of specific and nonspecific resistance in violation of the immune status . Reduces the muscle tone of the small intestine , increases the sensitivity to acetylcholine and barium chloride . Has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties . When applied topically ( spray lubrication of the skin and mucous membranes, bandages, compresses) toxic manifestations and has no irritation . LD 50 by intraperitoneal injection - rats 13,9-45,0 mg / kg in mice - 11,4-32,4 mg / kg, and when enterally - 133,0-319,0 mg / kg and 25,0 -47.0 mg / kg, respectively . 30-day use at doses equal 1/10-1/16 LD-50 caused no complications i pathological changes . In recommended doses izatizon not toxic to animals and humans. Contraindications are not revealed.

The integrated product consisting of drugs that have been used and applied as independent agents in medical practice of the former USSR , Ukraine , the Russian Federation and other countries : metisazon ( marboran ) , dimethyl sulfoxide, polietilenglyukol ( twin ) with a molecular weight of 400 . Oily liquid , dark yellow , bitter in taste , with a specific smell. Has no fire and explosion properties. Izatizon recommended for the prevention and treatment of diseases that are caused by viruses and viral- microbial associations. Range of actions includes : herpesviruses , myxoviruses , including influenza A and A- 1 , herpes labiales , herpes zoster , the AIDS virus , Marek's disease , infectious laryngotracheitis , bronchopneumonia horses and calves, and vaccinia virus ektromelii , Venezuelan equine encephalomyelitis virus horse virus enteritis swine enteroviruses waterfowl viruses beneficial insects , plants and fish , as well as micro-organisms : streptococci, staphylococci, pneumococci , tubercle bacillus , pathogenic fungi and yeast , chlamydia and mycoplasma .
